59B. Deletion of entries relating to certain firms by reason of formation of gujrat state
(1)NotwithstandinganythingcontainedinthisChapter,aRegistrarofFirms appointedforanyareabytheGovernmentofMaharashtramay,byorderinwriting, amendtheRegisterofFirmsmaintainedbyhimbydeletingtherefromtheentries relatingtoanyfirm,whoseplaceofbusinesshas,byreasonoftheformationofthe StateofGujaratbytheBombayReorganisationAct,1960,ceasedtobesituatedin theStateofMaharashtra:
ProvidedthattheRegistrarshall,beforepassinganyorderunderthissub-section, makesuchinquiryashedeemsnecessaryandgivenoticetothefirmandthe RegistraroftheStateofGujarat.
(2)Aftersuchamendment,theRegistrarshallceasetoperformthefunctionsofa Registrarinrespectofanyfirmtheentriesrelatingtowhichhavebeendeletedas aforesaid.
(3)Anypersonaggrievedbyanorderundersub-section(1)mayappealtosuch authorityandwithinsuchtime,asmaybespecifiedinthisbehalfbytheGovernment ofMaharashtra,bynotificationintheOfficialGazetteandsuchauthorityshallpass suchorderontheappealasitthinksfit.
(4)AnorderofaRegistrarundersub-section(1),orwhereanappealhasbeen preferredagainstitundersub-section(3),theorderoftheappellateauthorityshall befinal.
