40 Winding-Up Order
(1) Order to be sent to Official Liquidator and Registrar of Companies and form of order- Where a winding up order is made by the Central Government, it shall appoint the official liquidator as the Liquidator of the company. The order for winding up shall be inForm Dand shall be sent within a period not exceeding seven days thereof, to the Official Liquidator and to the Registrar of Companies.
(2) The Official Liquidator shall have all the powers as may be exercised by the company liquidator under the provisions of the Act.
