12. Exemptions and Reductions
Subject to such conditions as they may impose, the Government may, it it is necessary so to do in the public interest, by notification, reduce the rate of tax on any type of Motor Vehicle or exempt any specified class of importers or type of Vehicles from payment of the whole or part of the tax payable under this Act.
